Profile
I graduated from the department of Geology, Faculty of Science of the University of Assiut. Then I worked as a Demonstrator at the Department of Geology. After that, I got the degree of Master in Geology in 1989. I worked as an associate teacher in the Department of Geology at the University of Assiut between 1989 and 1995. After that I got a scholarship for the Ph. D degree in the United Kingdom at the Department of Earth Sciences of the University of Durham from 1997 to 1999 and got the Ph. D in 1999. Then I worked as a teacher (lecturer) in the Department of Geology at the University of Assiut between 1999 and 2005. After that, I got the degree of Associate Professor of Petroleum Geology and Sequence Stratigraphy in 2005. Then I worked as an Associate Professor of petroleum Geology and sequence Stratigraphy from 2005 to 2008. I also worked as a Petroleum Consultant for EREX (Egypt) Petroleum Company from 2002 to 26/10/2008 where I shared in many Projects for petroleum Exploration and development of Oil Fields in the United Kingdom, Sudan, Libya, Egypt and Mauritania.
